Cryotherapy uses concentrated nitrogen vapor to expose the body to extreme cold (-220 to -255 degrees Fahrenheit) to stimulate the body’s natural responses. These responses alleviate chronic pain, improve mood, combat inflammation, and promote faster muscle recovery. While cryotherapy may be new to you, it is an established regimen that has been used for decades in Europe and Japan. Cryotherapy is quick, easy, invigorating, and non-toxic. At Halo Cryotherapy, we offer three cryotherapy services:
Whole Body Cryotherapy involves entering a cryosauna where circulating concentrated nitrogen vapor exposes the body from the neck down to extreme cold for 2-3 minutes to stimulate a full body, systemic response to trigger increased blood flow throughout the entire body.
Local Cryotherapy uses a wand to produce a controlled stream of concentrated nitrogen vapor to expose a targeted area of the body to extreme cold for 5-8 minutes to stimulate increased blood flow to alleviate acute pain.
A Cryofacial uses a wand to produce a controlled stream of concentrated nitrogen vapor to target the face, neck and scalp with extremely cold temperatures for 10-15 minutes to stimulate blood flow, encourage collagen production, reduce pore size, and alleviate headaches.
